About the Foundation

The Jean-François and Marie-Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre Foundation is a non-profit organisation based in Brussels.

Founded in 2009, its primary objective is to promote access to education and culture for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The Foundation funds scholarships issued by schools and universities in a number countries.

It also supports contemporary artistic creation, especially by young artists, and promotes the training of young people from developing countries, especially those from countries where education is insufficient.

The Foundation supports artistic and cultural projects be they musical, visual, cinematographic, literary or otherwise.

It provides grants to young people from developing countries to enable them to get into French-speaking universities or other higher education establishments, the aim being to allow them to apply their training in their own countries.
